Brandon Metcalf – President/DJ
Having already established Destiny Worldwide, a company branching into several counterparts including a record label, a studio, merchandising, and music publishing, it is quite evident that entrepreneurship runs in Brandon Metcalf’s blood. Adding to his music-rooted business is Destiny DJ’s, providing young professional disc jockeys to cater events in the Seattle area since 2001. Metcalf’s DJ experience dates back to 10 years ago, starting as a club and competition DJ before stabilizing the company’s niche to weddings three years later. “I take my seven years of wedding DJ experience to blend a musical soundtrack that all can enjoy while incorporating all the client’s requests,” says Metcalf. Bridging musical gaps to accommodate audiences of all ages is a vital element of Destiny DJ’s to fulfilling a client’s request to the greatest extent and it all comes down to one simple task. “I listen,” he says. “That simple idea is the difference between a disaster and a perfect event.”
Nate Riley – Vice President/DJ
Nate Riley remembers his first date indulging in great food. Conversely, with all first dates comes an overwhelming amount of awkwardness, along with a complimentary ride in your parent’s mini-van. Since his first wedding event in 2004, Riley continues to assist our clients in creating an event to remember – an event unlike his first encounter dabbling with love. His upbeat manner and profound professionalism fundamentally provides ease to the stressful pre-planning of a monumental event. With customer satisfaction as his number one priority, Riley is ensured to keep audiences on their feet and always maintains an optimistic outlook to keep from having a dull moment. “I love to make the best of every situation and will always find a way to make you smile,” said Riley.
Tony Poston – Production Coordinator/DJ
When you book an event with Destiny DJ’s, the professionals behind the turntable are just as, if not more, enthusiastic than the clients. After all, Tony Poston is a real crowd pleaser when the floor is a dancing groomsmen shy of breaking the ice. “I think that my dancing separates me from other DJ’s out there,” says Poston. “If guests aren’t dancing, I get out on the dance floor and show them my moves.” Since his first DJ stint at college parties, Poston finds himself still doing what he loves 5 years later, with a higher production value and newfound professionalism. While Destiny caters to your every request, nothing great is ever achieved without enthusiasm. “At the end of the day, just having a good time doing your job is an accomplishment in itself,” he said.
Bridget Middaugh – Director of Marketing
As the freshest face to Destiny DJ’s (and parent company Destiny Worldwide, LLC), Bridget Middaugh is no amateur alongside the company’s professional counterparts. Having a keen background in the music business and being a connoisseur of all genres is only part of her formula to guarantee audience appeal as the director of marketing. “I’m in the music business because I love being a part of making memories for fans as they are discovering a new band,” Middaugh said. From small-scale events dating back in college to large-scale projects within the record company, it was imperative to treat our clients with the utmost camaraderie. Middaugh’s impeccable communication with our clients is one of the biggest assets to ensure the right exposure with a service of pristine. “I’m lucky because I get to work with some of the most talented bands, and people in music today,” she said.
